Manufacturing leaders deserve decisions based on evidence, not guesswork

That belief is why SKYLN Consulting exists. Everything below is simply the evidence that we can help you act on it.

About Dipankar Ghosh

Founder, SKYLN Consulting

Dipankar Ghosh has spent more than four decades inside manufacturing organisations, across operations, industrial automation, digital transformation and operational performance — often at the point where those disciplines meet and business value is either created or quietly lost.

Leading a manufacturing business is unusually difficult today because CEOs, Managing Directors, COOs and Plant Heads are asked to decide without one trusted operational picture: every function reports a different version of performance, and priorities compete without anyone knowing which lever actually moves the business. That is Operational Uncertainty at the moment of decision, and he has lived it.

He founded SKYLN to answer the question leadership teams keep returning to — where should we focus first, and how will we know it made a difference — with an honest understanding of how the business performs and where its profit is leaking away, not with a technology recommendation or a standard improvement programme.

For the leaders who work with SKYLN, this means you are not receiving a generic consultant or a technology vendor. You are working with someone who understands how decisions get made when the data is incomplete, and knows how to build the one trusted picture your leadership team needs to act with confidence.

Philosophy

What I Believe

Manufacturing is ultimately about people making decisions.

Technology should support those decisions, not replace them.

Every factory already contains hidden opportunities.

The challenge is seeing them clearly enough to act.

Better operational decisions create better business outcomes.

The greatest competitive advantage is clarity, not complexity.

Lasting improvement comes from building internal capability.

The objective is always to leave the organisation stronger than before.
